Surf World is recognized as the world’s largest surfing and beach culture museum, housing The Australian Surfing Hall Of Fame as part of its comprehensive surfing display.
It was first opened in December 1993 and in 1994 was recognized as one of the most significant centres of world surfing heritage by the International Surfing Association.
To continue being the most significant centre of world surfing heritage, we are always seeking to improve and review its historical collection. The aim is for each visitor to have the opportunity to see and share in real surfing and beach culture artifacts.
